I was thinking about getting this Hydor Koralia SmartWave Pump Controller with 2 Hydor Koralia Evolution Pump 750s. Is that enough flow for a 55g with a mixed of corals and clams....

Not even remotely close. Remember, only one pump will be on at a time so you will need a lot more flow. I'd recommend 4 1050s (2 plugged into each outlet), that way 2 will be on at one time. 2 x 1050gph = 2100gph. 2100gph/55g = 38x tank turnover rate. Not bad, but not a ton. I have a 20g and have 2 Koralia #1s on it. Not on a wavemaker so they are on at all times. 2 x 400gph /20g = 40x tank turnover rate and I wish I had more. And that is in a tank that is Zoa/Paly dominant and they love it.

Yeah I think "not even close" is a bit off too! I have 2 750's on mine and its OK, not great, but OK! I am upgrading, but its been enough for me until i got some of these sps!

IMO pay the numbers no attention, to a point. Get a good solid flow PH and see if it suits your needs. ( corals happy, and no dead spots) not too much where your stuff is blowing all around and your fish are swimming a marathon.

You need a splitter for each outlet. That gives you the ability to plug more than one pump into each outlet.

hmmmmm.... now im starting to think 3 Hydor Koralia Evolution Pump 750s or 2 Hydor Koralia Evolution Pump 1050s... ugh so hard! i think 2 Hydor Koralia Evolution Pump 1050s will be better i dont want 3 fans in the tank if i can help it....

I think 2- 1050's will do the trick.
