    It depends on what you're keeping. SPS do better with a lot of flow and random flow. LPS and softies you have to be more careful...too much flow and you can tear them up. I'm a huge fan of random flow...I think it makes for happier critters, and a much more natural look.

    Thats my worry, I have lots of LPS corals its pretty much mostly what i keep. I want a couple to get a couple plating montipora and some sps so im hoping they can all be happy. I heard about the random flow which is why i wanted to go with the Hydor Koralia smartwave controller. Hopefully itll do the trick
