Yeah, I mean, it is universally used for trade, but I'm not seeing how it helps, unless he's buying from a US company to begin with. Unless they're manufactured in the US (somewhat likely, TBH, despite the huge number of people yelling about the fall of American manufacturing, who in turn don't account for the gigantic leaps in productivity that more than make up for losses in raw jobs), it kinda doesn't make sense to import them from here.

I'm planning on importing from a US based distributor. It is significantly cheaper, in AUS your looking at about 300 AUD for a 6085, in the US 170 AUD.

So now at parity, its going to cost me approx 170 + shipping and currency change.
There is a huge make up down in AUS, with the cheaper USD I can 're-import' from the US to AUS and save.

EDIT: Hope that makes sense.. :)

Ah, that explains it lol. I thought it was a US distributor, but I wasn't sure.

BTW, the Koralias are super popular for a reason. They have a good track record, especially for the price. But I trust German manufacturing to do it better than Italians on a general level, if you're willing to pay the premium, so I have no doubts Tunze will do you well.
