Is this good for a biocube 29?

Would this be a good light, for soft corals, and maybe more demanding corals? here is the link: Aquarium 24 LEDs Dimmable DIY LED kit with optics


and will it fit in the gutted, biocube hood?

 

I think the heatsink will be to big inside the hood.

Yes, I have. But, it says it is unavailable on the website. I did hear good things about the 24 led kit I posted , but if it doesn't fit then I don't want it.

 

Take Biocubes advice as he has one of the best Ive seen. Im not familiar with the led's in that kit, but I just bought the rapid kit and love it...Mike will take care of you there. They use CREE lights and I know they are quality.

 

And the heat sink is 4.7"W,1.2"H, and 15.8"L, do you think it will fit?

I dont think the Heatsink will fit either... If it were me Id proly spend the extra money and go with a rapidled kit.. Very friendly people over there that will answer any questions you need.

RapidLED is def the way to go. I added two more LEDs to my 24 kit and plan to add 6 more for a wider color spectrum.
