    Most Brittle Stars are Reef safe, but they are opportunistic feeders and have been known to hunt fish. The Green ones I would a void.

    Had a black brittle star who made a meal of two Carpenter's Wrasses while they were sleeping. Wrasses are noted sand sleepers and as J said, an opportunistic brittle star made short work of them.

    they can be aggressive the green ones are the most aggressive some will tent and when the fish goes underneath they drop on it. but on the other hand theres some that are good citizens. its one of those critters that you chance when you get them kind of like an angel in a reef
