Well things seem to be getting worse for my tank, it just overheated while i was out of town. I spent all day today cleaning and trying to reverse the damage.

Here is a link to what happened.....

I just noticed my purple dotty back has a few white spots. She is acting completely normal though. I dont know if its just stress from the heat the other day or if she has ich so tell me what you think.

    Video of her:

If it is Ich what should i do? Remove all fish and treat them together with hyposalinity or just remove her?

all my parameters are back to their normal selves and all other fish seem normal without any signs of the spots. Should i just try to reduce the stress level and feed extra?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Could be Marine Ich or Lymphocyctis.

If it were my tank I would not remove any fish, I would just let the tank recover.

Okay cool, your advice seems to always work for me so i will just let it do its thing for a few days and report any negative changes. I also just fed and she ate like a lil pig, which is typical.

+1. Not Ich. Removing them would do nothing.

If it is ich soak the food in garlic before you feed them.

Wow awesome link, thanks! Never heard of that before, I did a thorough cleaning today and fed her really well. So we shall see what happens.

No problem. I am sure it was the extreme temps that made it show symptoms. Once the tank has been back to normal for a while it seems it may not show any more signs.
