    These white spots are quite a bit bigger than what I've seen with my previous ich problems. My water is at 1.008 and has been for a month now. Could this be an infection?

    They aren't all the same size. Different environmental conditions create different sizes of the same strain and then there are different strains that are, by nature, different sizes.

    I think I overused the word different.
