is this killing my blasto?

    OK, I am officially saying this is just how this type of blasto grows.

    I also have a purple/green blasto that does nothing similar to this at all.

    However, this particular one is at it again. The polyps have been growing and spreading very nicely.

    This spread has been at it again. I finally caught it with the polyps closed (they're generally wide open) so you can really see this growth thing.

    In the video, notice how it's kind of dangling and swaying in the current (bottom left of the coral, this is a phone video so it's pretty crappy, but you can definitely make out the sway). I *think* it's about to drop off and will be "spreading" in this way. When it's open (most of the time) you can't really make out any of this growth at all. Only when closed.

    that dangling piece is being held on by one blasto head. that blasto head is extremely stretched out. Thinking I should just snip it and let the little bulb thing fall... any thoughts?
