Is this leather dying, could this be affecting my ammonia.

    this doesnt look good, so i noticed the tower starting to go a little darker but it has gone very dark since i left for work.

    im guessing by the color this is bad?

    note that at the top next to the gsp's the white is the actual color of the tower and then just gets a darker brown as it goes down

    Wait, didn't you say you were having ammonia problems. I thought I read an 8 somewhere earlier. Am I loosing my mind?

    bingo yes i did state i was having ammonia problems and havent been able to find the source. Not near 8 though, im having .01-.1 readings of total ammonia, the less toxic one. if this tower started me to have a new cycle then that would explain my rise in ammonia and nitrates.

    was wondering if this brownish color was a clue to anything
