Is this normal acclimation for a goniopora?

A friend bought this for my birthday... No one listens

For some reason I usually have luck with harder to keep corals.

After acclimation I placed this coral just below the middle the way up and it's under 4. 54 watt bulbs 2actinic 2 white

Water is pristine tested this morning and tested at the Lfs yesterday

It looked like this this morning

And then like this a few minutes later

And is now looking like this


Is this all apart of normal acclimation? Also anyone know what species?

 

Certainly looks better in the last pic, but yes, it generally takes up to a few days for most LPS to open fully if acclimated to different lighting.

The Lfs was pushing dr g's phyto... I've never seen that before

It was normal acclimation process lol it's got amazing extension now
