is this normal scooter blennie behavior

    IS it normal when the lights go out, for my scooter blennie to bury himself in the sand with just his eyes poking out?

    I say yes.
    It depends how comfortable they are in your tank. What other inhabitants you have. Mine sometimes hide and other times I see them scooting around but when scared they either dive into a hole or into the sand. My wrasses hide in the sand every night.

    he is the only fish in the tank. just got him 2 days ago. and 3 hermits.
