Hi i have had my clown for about 3 months came with a partner who sadly passed away just before christmas due to a power tank crash. But since he lost his partner he has found a new home and is now hosting in a ridicorda mushroom! He gos to sleep there every night and when i get up in the mornibg hes still asleep there! Is that normal? the mushroom is not to keen on the whole thing and has tried at times to curl up to get some piece.....will this stress the mushroom? and willit harm the clown sleeping in a mushroom?
    Thanks K

I really enjoy seeing your clown, it looks as happy as a bug in a rug!! I don't know if there is anyway to stop him from sleeping with the mushroom. When mine decided he wanted to sleep next to the zoas, I moved them. He picked a different place. I don't know if that would help, but you might try moving the mushroom.

Hello, perfectly normal. It is hosting it and for good reason. A lot of aquarists are unaware of the true nature of what we refer to simply as a mushroom. It is in reality, a Mushroom Anemone. Here is a good reference; Reef Aquarium Mushrooms / Disc Anemones & Ricordea Coral Pictures

Neither will be harmed by the relationship.

My Tomatoes are hosting a hairy mushroom, I haven't seen any negative effects.

Thats a very informative link, even though I've been in this hobby for 25 years, I seem to learn something everyday. I've seen clowns hosting in just about everything, sometimes it'll cause the host some issues such as irritation and they may retract for extended periods of time, usually the clown gets the idea and moves on to another host.
