Here are my results after testing. Water temp 78*F.

    Ph - Between 8.4 and 8.2
    Amonia - Between 0 and .25
    Nitrite - .25
    Nitrate - 5

API test kit used. It doesn't really say where everything should be, just how to do the tests. The LFS said that everything was ok, but isn't the nitrate level a little high?

Since you just introduced 2 new fish I would say your elevated Ammonia and Nitrite levels are to be expected. But if they do not return to zero quickly you will be causing your fish and coral major stress. Both ammonia and Nitrite at any level above zero can be harmful and cause major respiratory problems in fish.

Jason meant to say "ammonia and nitrite", not nitrate. :)
Ammonia and nitrite should be at zero. Nitrate should be low, preferably below 10.

I think for a 26g tank he is about done. I doubt the bioload could handle anything more.

Just with those 2 fish Henniochus and Trigger can get relatively big so i would agree with J on this one... I would not add anymore fish.

Good point, m_lacom99. I had to look up Henniochus to find out what it was.
I think the Picasso trigger is beautiful. But, I like my inverts too much to get one!

Yeah...no more fish. Thanks for the help on the numbers!! About a 5% water change happening tomorrow, I'll do another test after things settle out.
