I am kind of worried its a little to much Direct suction / Flow in my 55 gallon tank. What does everyone think? (I know I should get a bigger tank, but I can't at the moment)

A healthy fish will be able to swim away from almost any suction in the tank, so I wouldn't really worry about that. If you have any shrimp, that may be a bigger worry, I had a peppermint shrimp get stuck to a power head before and die. The flow should be fine. I have a total flow of about 2100gph, rough estimate, from various sources, and I have a 55

I have a 100 and my canister is 1425gph and my sump is 1000gph but the reason im posting here is because my tank is 48 inchs long a 55 is the same if it was my call i would say that filter is good for now but look into a sump in the future.

Depends what you have for fish. I have read many articles that owners of very overcrowded cichlid tanks, used this to finally clear the water up.

Eitherway, this will clean a 55 quite nicely.
