Is this overstocked ?

    niger 8"

    fox 7"

    soldier fish 6"

    SF eel 18"

    I think it is fully if not over. My buddy says no. He has no problems as of yet except for a HA problem he is battling. Insight please?

    I wouldn't know that sort of thing...maybe the fish calculator here? It can give you a base idea at the least. :)

    Short Answer No. about 2/3rds of the way there. I never brought into all the mess If it looks O.K to you and and what you have are healthy its fine Then Fish are skinny :) I'd add a couple more 6 inch fish maybe with your filtration system Maybe all I'd add would be an air stone and pump to the sump. Have you ever tested for Dissolve O'2 ? Thats the only factor I'd be concerned with lowered oxygen levels

    Keep eye on water params...


    They will tell you if overstocked.

    May need to increase frequency and amount of water changes.

    That is way to tell...

    Ditto on Tangster suggestion of adding airstone.
