is this red bubble algae??

    yes and if you do see bubbles within the algae that are clear just remember that they use photosynthesis and a biproduct of that is oxygen which would be a bubble underwater which you could mis diagnos it so be careful

    that species of botryocladia (likely occidentalis) is desirable, dont toss it!
