    Hi guys,

I'm thinking about buying this medication thing for my aquarium. The reason why is because the water is cloudy, very cloudy.

It has been running for about 3 months. None of my fish have ever died. My anemone is looking in its best shape ever and all my water parameters are excellent. It's running a CPR protein skimmer and a power head with 250W of Acentic and HO lights.

The link is below for the medication, or maybe you guys have used something safer, that you can share with me?

    Opentip.com: Clear Up Saltwater 8oz

    Many Thanks

I feel you should taking care of the cause and not treating the problem. If your water is still cloudy something somewhere is not right. Is it micro bubbles, sand blowing around? What type of filtration are you running? I havent used it by would only use something like this as a last attempt.

    This is the strangest thing,

I have my "output hole thing" on my protein skimmer down in the water, and it still produces microbubbles. It's not the sand. For biological filteration I'm using the live rocks and then just the Protein Skimmer.

Any suggestion to fix these darn microbubbles then?

Do you have a pic of your setup? If so we maybe able to give some suggestions on what to look for. 1 way some people get rid of them is with a filter sock over the end. The only problem this is it can get dirty and cause back pressure on the skimmer causing it to overflow. if you go this route you need to check the filter sock at least once a day. Does your tank clear up when the skimmer is turned off for a little while?

Are they coming from the return or the PH?
Do the micro bubbles go away when the skimmer is off?

You said everything. Have you narrowed it down to what is causing it? Skimmer?

I think it's the pump being a little out of the water.. I've added another gallon but the water level doesn't raise in my DT and I don't have a leak. It's rather strange. I wasn't meaning to highjack this thread either I feel like i'm being rude sorry yptozmy

If your pump is sucking air then I would say that may be the root cause.
