    Hello Everyone,

I recently got some magnets to build my frag rack and was told that I should silicone these magnets. This is the Silicone that I bought from the Home Depot, is it reef safe?

If it is, how much Silicone do I put on the magnets?
I would guess that I would need to let it set for at least 24 hours?

If anyone has any other informative comments please help me out. Thanks in advance,

    Robert

Not sure if this is considered "reef safe" or not but I used this same silicone to seal up some bulkheads on my tank when I set it up.

no, it has mold inhibitors in it that will kill your tank, I believe you need the GE Type II 100% silicone
