Don't know much about them as I am partial to Aqua C skimmers anyhow!
I would do some research as their are many different brands and styles of skimmer, from venturi to downdraft and some in between!

I don't actually have it, but when I researched my skimmer, I came across this one. The biggest problem was that it doesn't have a collection cup, you need to link a tube to a container outside of the skimmer. It also had problems with micro bubbles. These are personel choices, and if you don't care, I think it does a pretty good job. But remember, as you progress in this hobby, you will want better equipment. It's really up to you.

well i have 2 opinions about this,.....one depeding on what your keeping in the 29 (i know i am going to get alot of talk for this! but...) i dont even think you need a skimmer a weekly like 5 gallone water change would do the trick........but if you really wanted one for just a 29 gallon i am sure you could get something not pricey and rated for not too high. maybe an odyssea 75???? that would do the trick if you tune it in right.
