Thanks, but I already bought it:(
I'm hoping for a more compact "all in one"tank for the time being. I'm not too concerned with the lights since I only have a few mushrooms and toadstools. As for my 40 breeder, I'm definitely keeping it. Maybe it will be a sump someday. I want to upgrade someday and do things right. I'm always disappointed with things in my tank because I cheaped out on something etc.... Hopefully this is not another mistake!

Very cool! Just read it all. Is another powerhead necessary? I was hoping the "outlet" would be enough

I would recommend one. I always suggest at least 20x turnover. Some leathers prefer more.

In my JBJ 28, I have two Koralia Nano 450s. That is a great amount of flow for the tank IMO.

I'm not really trying to down the Biocube -- it has it's great perks! I think it would be a much better leather tank, mantis, seahorse, a planted fw tank. I plan on using it as a display refugium once I switch into my 40g. It will server as an amazing area for growing macro algae and maybe later down the road, a mandarin.

Tear out those damn bioballs and consider adding a overflow to place your aftermarket stuff in!

Should I put chaeto where the bio balls are suppose to go?
It should be here Friday! Can't wait. I'm looking for a stand now, having a real hard time! I think I might DIY it. I want something taller than the stand you can buy for it.

Not with the standard biocube lid. Not enough light will reach the back chamber. Some biocubes come with a clear spot on the back wall so you can attach a refugium light. If you are able to hang the lid just a few inches at the least, then you would be able to get light to the back chamber and grow chaeto
