I'm planning on trying to make a small tank (24x12x10) and a top off container (6x12x18). I've been reading on reefcentral and the word there seems to be that only Plexiglas and Plexigas G were suitable to make anything that holds water. Would this be okay or should I stick with the more expensive stuff? It says that it's cast acrylic but I don't want it blowing out later down the road. Thank you in advance.

That should be fine. Make sure you follow the directions exactly and use the suggested glues for putting the tanks together.
