first several; clutches are not worth trying to culture, they are just getting in the swing of things. If you want to attempt it, start trying to culture rotifers now as if you cannot get that down, culturing clownfish larvae is a losing battle.

To correct some misinformation given above, you DO NOT do water changes on your larval tank after feeding rotifers.

The link above, MOFIB, sees very little action. I'd head over to MBI... MBI - Marine Breeding Initiative

clownfish larvae need the biological cue live rotifers offer. The success of frozen is dismal at best. First, frozen rotifers are not gut packed or enriched, and even if they were, their bodies explode when frozen and thus leak out any real nutritional value.

Pretty cool. It can be very hard to get them to survive especially the first few batches. Like stated above, I'd work on getting the rotifer culture going, then worry about the fry. I'm hoping my misbar black and snowflake spawn. Good luck

Yeah first batch is a goner sadly :( ordered some live rotifers and going to try to culture them. If all else fails (clowns wont spawn again) it will be food for my corals.

Very sad to hear that, but thanks for sharing the pic. Hopefully you'll have more luck next time. Clowns are cool as it is, grow your own; that's just awesome!
