    found them in my cheato that i just got from my lfs.

    so would it be ok to put my peppermint shrimp into my fuge and see if he takes care of the problem?? seems many say they will eat the aiptasia but must wanting to make sure. thanks again!!

    yeah you can if you want, but good luck getting him back out of there, or he could go the the rest of your sump...

    if its in you sump and just attached to Cheato , could you not just manually remove and dispose of?

    Yeah...it is in a good spot for removal. Never forcefully remove them though (as in ripping them off). They spread that way. Just cut away the Chaeto around the aiptasia and toss in the trash.

    wouldnt that be too easy lol.. just thought i would give my shrimp a treat since they seems to enjoy the aiptasia. maybe i will just manually remove it.. i probally just go ahead and check the rest of the the cheato.

    Good thinking and its in the sump, which makes it a whole lot better than it being in the DT
