    is this poop or some kind of worm? may sound silly but there is always a possibility that this thing can destroy all my corals.

    its brown and fairly soft a pice broke off putting it into a tuberware dish I will upload pics as soon as photobucket starts wroking. anyone alse with ric shrooms see this?

    yes that is normal, your ricordia is just expelling waste. most corals do this in some way shape or form.
