After adding a anemone an a second Tomato clown hoping to pair and host. The new Tomato has taken over the tank (bully) My Ocellaris Clown fish is now confined to one corner of my 90 reef BF he is rounded up as soon as he even motions toward any other part of the tank.

Every one else has a pair except the Ocellaris Clown fish and there is plenty of real-estate for all.

My question is should I add a second Ocellaris Clown fish so it to has a pair? Also is there any way to tell if it is a male or female?

    Thanks again

It's likely a male since it doesn't have a buddy. I would get another one but that's just me. :) What made you decide to get a Tomato rather than another Ocellaris?

I agree with you as well. The tomato was a gift from my daughter and has been with me during my upgrade. I agree i may be looking into buying a second so everyone is paired up.

    Thanks TA

    How big is the tank?

I am not sure I would want to add another O clown when the one thats there is already being bullied by the Tomato

if the Tomato is unhappy about the one in the tank, its going to be seriously perplexed by the addition of another 1, IMHO

    might be decision time
decide which of the 2 clown species you want to keep

I actually believe it's a female, since it's the most dominate of the species in the tank. The females are always the most dominate larger one in the pair.

Agree, anything more than a pair of clowns is pushing it in a 90g, especially with a fairly aggressive clown pair, such as tomatoes.
Your tank will probably be a more peaceful place if you remove the OC or tomatoes.
