    It kinda looks like the Hydroid but I can't be sure because it is really small.

    Are they bad?

    I'll keep this thread updated with growth until we confirm an ID.

    I've found another branching out on the same rock but growing horizontally outward. I wish someone could ID this crazy thing. lol

    It is a hydroid and will more than likely die out.

    I could almost say that if it's not a hydroid then it could be a barnicle
