I got it in a package deal, not sure what it is. Its obviously encrusting (not soft to the touch, at all), and it has grown over an inverted frag plug to get that awesome shape (great idea btw).

It has long clear tentacles, about 2"-3" that come out for feeding every night. I keep it a safe distance away from other corals.

its a toxic green neon color, even in regular daylight 10K lighting. Actinics make is look SICK.

Someone suggested Merulina coral, but i'm not convinced.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D I want to know what it is so I can give him the lighting/placement/feeding requirements he needs to flourish.

Would definitely agree with the Merulina ID there, I have a blue-ish coloured one in my tank. They're beautiful corals!

Blue would be beautiful. Ive only seen pics of the brown w/green centers online, do you have a picture of yours?

What kind of lighting do you keep it under?

Currently mine is in moderate flow, and he is placed closer to the bottom of a 13" tall tank with 6x54 watt T5HO's. After reading about the high lighting requirements, I was thinking about moving him up to mid-level along with the Acros and Yumas. What do you suggest?
