it was a pretty good weekend

this weekend was so action packed and fun-filled that i had to share all the joy with you folks. first off, my wife and her friend signed up for the Landshark Beach-a-thon which was an absolute blast. they went as pirates, my buddy and i played the part of Support Team Sombrero




to celebrate the great job the girls did (30 and 31st in age group and 144 and 145th), we decided to throw a feast. Ribs, stuffed mushrooms, BBQ beans, twice baked garlic potatoes and "fancy" toast (this brother can cook!). there is no post race celebration like throwing back a few beers and eating yourself stupid full before passing out on the couch.




we also played a crap load of video games, took the pup hiking and got some golf in. mission accomplished!

yeah, i'm missing out this weekend. all my buds are up at my lake house partying without me (see what a good friend i am?). he got his sea doo running and we told him he could have full access to boats if he drug one up for us.
