    Hi All,

I recently took possession of a 75G aquarium. I'm new to the hobby and I was wondering if you can help me ID what is growing in my aquarium.

This little one looks like an anemone?

    Kenya Tree perhaps?

Not sure what this one is but its like a carpet; green inside

They are like little hands that open and close

    Brain coral?

    Thanks!

    I concur.

1.) Manajo....this will spread like a weed (well, it most likely will. I kill them with a little home-made Joe's juice injected into their devil mouths)

2.) Kenya Tree....this will also spread like a weed (And to me, it's a good thing. Mine has started to under improved lighting)

3.) Looks like pulsating xenia that has expelled it's zooanthellae.

    4.) Open Brain.

Yikes! First Aiptasias (still trying to get rid of them) now I have deal with Majanos? Im using a syringe with lemon juice right now. Some Aiptasias die off with one shot but others are taking two or three before they turn to goo.

Isnt lemon juice bad for the tank after a while? I heard Joe's Juice is banned in California.

#3 looks like a nonpulsing xenia. I had some crop up in a patch of blue polyps and it is now big and brown and ugly. But it doesn't sting anything so it is still there. The second picture is at six months.
