Car vs motorcycle and the car won. I feel your pain. Hope you're better soon.

Time for some background info! You have 2 main bones in your forearm area, similar to the tibula and fibula in your shin. They are called the radius and the ulna. Your radius is the bone on the thumb side of your arms, and the ulna is the bone on the other side of your arms.

Yay me for surviving 2 highschool health classes, currently in a college first aid class, and I've been assigned to memorize the names of bones more times than I care to think. :D

Wesho, at least you didn't land on your head (the city would of billed your folks for damage to city property ;D )!!

Glad you are OK. Can we sign your cast electronically??

The worst injuries I've had were:

-I ripped my left quad muscle (the thing in front of your hamstring) when I competed in highschool track. I had to go through physical therapy for a month, and I didn't join the track season until late march or early April, when it normally starts in Feb.

-I had an ingrown toenail on my big toe where the doctor actually ripped the whole toenail off to get it to heal. That whole ordeal was rather painful. Ugh.

I know I've had worse than those, but those are the 2 I can remember vividly. I know I hurt my head on a playground once, but that was waaay too early in my life for me to remember anything about it.

My ulna is currently broke and it sucks. I got hit by a pitch playing baseball 3 1/2 weeks ago and I was shocked when the doctor said it broke my arm. Never heard of anyone getting their arm broken from a pitch. Anyway, I want to be better already but I know I have to be patient while it heals. I'm in a cast for at least two more weeks. Good times!
