Its kickin my butt!!

I shut the skimmer down...was only running for a day or so, I agree with your example Tangster and it makes since.

I will let the system build some before I attempt it again. Going to keep fuge running empty as it adds volume to the system. I will be adding fish as the weeks go by and watch the parameters.

Once it builds up enough....or the nitrates maintain higher levels...I'll give it another shot.

i would recommend more flow in the fuge, i have heard of it turning brown do to lack of flow. it likes a stronger flow then other macros

edit: also it may be a lack of phosphate
