    lol i know but it's the clean up crew's job, i worry if i scrape the algae off it's going to get all over even worse, i hate the new tank algae phase :D

    I would scrape the glass and let the cuc work on the rocks. If you have decent flow your skimmer should pick up the algae. I run a mag float over mine every day to keep down on how much algae gets in the water column.

    Odd... lol But I have never had the algae that you have so not sure what to do with that LOL. I personally leave two sides of the tank to get filthy and full of algae :x and stuff... It makes my urchin, snails and etc happy

    ok, i'll do that tomorrow, i don't want to do anything with the tank today, and stop picturing taking. And i have noticed the clean up crew has been working on the glass and not the rocks.

    hahaha you were lucky. My clean up crew only comes out at night, i love nighttime in my tank :) but i would much rather have everyone clean the rocks

    Mine did the exact same thing they would all hover to the glass and seemed to stay away from the rock. They eventually for the most part figured out where they needed to be though with the glass being clean. Also if your worried about a lot of algae getting around the tank you could do it in small sections and maybe reduce the stress to the fish.
