    haha i think my clowns will be happy to have another tankmate. They were all excited when i poured in my clean up crew. i wonder how they will be with the new fish

    My B&W clowns where just fine with my normal firefish, Id assume they will be happy to have a friend :D!

    You will need something more than egg crate. Firefish are small and skinny, and can go right through it. If it decides to jump, the egg crate will not even slow it down.

    You can try screen for doors they sell at lowes. Stretch it across the egg crate. Might block too much light though. If your could find some sort of screen with 1/8" squares that would be perfect. My LFS sells a pond net to keep the leaves out which would be perfect. I also agree that I wouldn't trust egg crate. That firefish would slip right through if something spooked him. Last thing you want is to wake up and find your new firefish on the carpet. :cry:

    i'll see if i can go to lowes tonight to get pond netting, that's a great idea!
