It's official! I own the Helfrichi's Firefish!

Someone earlier posted a thread how to use a loofa ( i believe) or nylons or something to cover the aquarium... If i can find it it is a cheap way to do it, most loofas are like 1$ lol

Theres been many a day and night that I've forgot to shut my glass lid and Twitch (My firefish) is still here and kicking, he must like his home and friends LOL.

 

lol guess he does, that reminds me, i will have to think of a name for the new fish

I would say its alot of money on a fish if you dont make sure it cant jump out

but i think there are numerous fish/corals that you could have spent alot more on.

 

Did you get it yet? As for the top, I agree with Pack leader, eggcrate wont' stop that size of a fish. What I have done is buy a piece of acrylic and drill a bunch of holes in it for air flow, works great. It's a little more effort and time, but IMO, it's the best method.

 

The back of my tank is open.... so i have a 30% chance of losing my purple. But i have to say ive never seen it leave about a 1 ft area right in the front bottom.

 

So uh...about the picture???? ;D Can't wait, and I remember when my diamond goby jumped out, I just didn't belive they jump. Then one day I looked alllll around my tank, the little guy ended up getting stuck between the aquarium glass and the skimmer.
