    yea i had emailed them asking me if they could refund my saturday delivery fee and they did, so that's how the price lowered to $127 or something like that

    Yeah do the pond netting. Glass can lead to oxygen exchange, PH, and heat problems. Another option is to build an acrylic wall around the boarder of the tank (kinda like a hockey rink). That being said, I have had my firefish for a good long while and it has never even hinted at jumping. I would just be a little more weary about a helfrichi over a twelve dollar standard firefish ;)

    yea tuesday my dad is going to to cut the screen door stuff, we looked at the pond netting but the holes were about the same size as the eggcrate so that's why we went with screen door, there would be no way a fish could fit through those tiny holes.

    The acrylic wall is an ineteresting idea

    It works well. I like the wall because it has absolutely no effect on the lighting. That's what I hate about egg crate. I ran the wall on my 40 for a while and it worked good. You can attach the front panel with velcro so it's real easy to remove come feeding or maintenance time. I did not run it on my big system because I would need over 18 feet of it, and it would be too expensive. Tried the eggcrate but hated it, so I am trying to find other options.

    sounds like it would be pretty easy to do, what about the back of the tank how would i go about working around the equipment?
