    i have a 125 and a 30 gallon sump but its packed tight with everything i want some thing new and i have 36 by 20 by 24 in space i can fit a 40 breeder what is your take on it?

    24 is where the drain and stand pipes meet so prob a little less so i can get in there

    custom sump is the way to go, luna and I both have them IMO the organization of the chambers is superior to size anyday if you can get both, then thats even better :)

    I have a custom sump now that I build I want to use a pre-built tank, but add baffles myself.

    I agree with Iraf and Mission, I wish I would have done it like this from the start. If I where in your shoes, I would do the whole space thats under the DT, if possible. Luna
