    Just put some epoxy over it.its the safest way :/

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It either looks like a majano or a ball tip, really hard to say.

    But yes to putting some putty over it, that would be the safest way seeing as you have that coral right there, next to it.

    I WOULD NOT NUKE IT!!! It could be a pseudocorynactis. By any chance do you have a frogspawn in that tank with an empty "Head"? (In quotes because I hate that word...it's a polyp). I think there's a possibility that it could be a frogspawn "head" that did a polyp bailout.

    That was my first thought as well. I've had baby polyps that where hidden under large heads bail out and attach elsewhere
