itsie bitsie cowfish!

    We purchased the smallest little, cutiest cowfish ever! It is about the size of your pinkie fingernail. It was trying to eat at the store, however the food was too big for him. I of course fell for the underdog and bought him. Placed him in our 19g tank that had been set up without anything in it. We turned off all the other pumps in the system with the exception of the return pump.....he got sucked up into the overflow and could not get out. Blocked and padded the overflow so he would not get sucked into it and he seems to be doing fine now.

    Sooo, the food. Bought some baby brine shrimp and it just confused him. Was all over the tank and was so small he didnt even look at it. Had some rods food fish eggs, put that in the tank, and he ate some of those. However he loves the full sized mysis shrimp, even though it is bigger than him! ::) He is sooo cute!

    LOL I got one that was small but not that small, it also helps to break the flakes into smaller pices and feesd him those.
