I seem to have these tiny little jellyfish like bell shaped "things" swimming about. they pump themselves like a jellyfish, they have a clear body with a light reflective dot on the top of the bell (head I would assume) and similar glowy dots around the skirt. They will make a star like shape when they attach to the glass, and at this time I can see nearly invisible tentacles.
I'm sure when I get my skimmer next week i'll not see these little guys in the numbers that I am now, sadly they are quite cute.
My green chromis like to torture them by eating and spiting them out repeatedly.
I discovered them when I was spying on my pistol shrimp with a flashlight, before then I had never seen them attached on the glass (I spend alot of time looking through it so I would have noticed) but now there are around 10 or more at any given time available to count (not including the ones swimming). They are seriously no bigger than the flat head of a pin.
I'll try and post pics when I get off work!

Hmm, unless they have a larval stage that is near clear, they don't resemble those pics.
Neat little jellyfish you have though, bought or ...?

Ahh, I think you may have copepods, they are very common and extremely beneficial for your tank...

My jellyfish are from the hydroid polyps in my tank, everytime I add freshwater during a top up the hydroids in my sump get stressed and release jellyfish to spread their seed, I collect them and grow them on.

Nope, it looks less like a "bug" and more like a moon jelly fish, minus the size and cap. seriously looks like a little triangular bell pulsing through the water like its on drugs. Very much so attracted to light. T_T I need to go home and take pics
The little tentacles cannot be seen when its swimming.

Well after much searching I think I've discovered what these little guys are. And after much fighting with my camera and my computer and heck even the internet connection went on me (maybe i'm not supposed to be posting this o_O ), I finally managed to get a picture done.
It stands up like a tent when it isn't swimming around in a convulsive manner. That red algae hasn't bothered to increase (or decrease) since I put that rock in the tank. Along with my little larvae are a bunch of copeopods (they show up well on red!!)
The only thing you cant see in this pic are its thread like invisible tentacles, there are as many as there are stripes on the lower part of the body.

If what i have founds is correct, than this is a brittle star larva. at some point this little guy will go through a metamophisis and gain a disc like the adults and some very short arms. The number of arms of course will become five.
To back this up, the newest thing added to my tank about a week ago was a frag of a toadstool leather and GSP. many hitch hikers on this, including 5 mini brittle stars. They since made themselves home in the upper rocks, then these things appeared three days ago.
I had never had stars of any kind in my tank previously.

So, that's my guess (even though I talk like I know what it is and had them for years with successful breeding attempts... sales for ya ;p )
If you guys have any ideas, lemme know!
