Here is what I had to do when I got a new computer.
    1. Back up iTunes on old computer to CDs
    2. Restore backups to iTunes on new computer
    3. Move play lists from Restored Playlists list, to normal play lists
    4. Sync iPod and have it delete all songs and then readd all songs.

Note * Make sure to authorize new computer after importing CDs from old computer to new computer. If you don't, it won't copy all your songs to your iPod.

There is some third party software that will let you download all the music from your iPod to any computer. Do a google search for "copy songs from ipod to computer" or something similar. You should be able to narrow it down to the best option from there. It's been a while since I have done it, so I can't tell you which is the best one. However, I'd be shocked if there wasn't some freeware options or at the very least cheap shareware.
