Although the volume isn't much higher..I feel like I have a lot more room in this tank and want to add another fish. Right now I have:

    Melanurus Wrasse
    Percula Clown
    Scissortail Dartfish

I am thinking about getting a yellow watchman goby for some good color and a pistol shrimp.

My nitrates are at zero with my current stock..so one more couldn't hurt!

Any other suggestions? Definitely open for recommendations.

I've always loved yellow watchman gobies. They look like a lot of fun and it would occupy different space in your aquarium. I say go for it!

I like it that they keep the sand cleaned off too...I'm going to wait a little while before I get anything though..I still feel like everything is settling in the new tank. Maybe next week.

Would be a cool addition I plan on getting the yellow for color and it performs a function as well, can get a colorful pistol shrimp as well so you can have a colorful and comical pair :D

Okay I might be changing my mind...I just took my sand into account. It's pretty fine..and the majority of it brand new so. The last goby I had..i had a sandstorm for a few days. I think the storm would be everlasting if I got one with this sand..

Do you have a thread for your tank? Or pictures? I'd like to see some other 40's. They really are great tanks..it gives you the feel of a large system in a smaller size..if that makes sense..

Just got home with an orange spot goby and some type of encrusting gorgonian. I will post pics as soon as the fish comes out and the gorg opens up!

Congrats on the quick turn around. Great solution on the light. 40 breeders actually hold almost 45 gallons. I have one that I am going to use for my sump on my build if I ever stop buying coral. LOL
