    10 Gallon. I thought about getting a 20 long, but I just built this one a month or so ago for my 36. It's nice having a little space in the cabinet anyway.

    Here are a couple pics of today's purchases.

    I'm really surprised at how fast this little guy came out. I thought about getting an aurora goby, but they wanted 60 for it. I wasn't about to do that! I'm happy with this one though.

    No, I use the CPR CS50. It's pretty fool-proof if used with the aqualifter pump. Very quiet too compared to others I have seen.

    blleehhh. Diatoms. New base rock and new sand isn't cooperating too well.

    IME these secondary or subsequent diatom periods are neither as bad or as long lived as the initial one the tank went through when it was started
