Turns out that my new goby is nocturnal lol It sits in the rocks all day and as soon as the lights are out it comes out. Hopefully he's just getting used to things.

Calcium reactor is up and running. Should have fun tweaking it for the next couple weeks.

 

Just ordered a Phoenix 14k..I can't handle the 20k anymore and I've heard nothing but great things about the phoenix. I feel like my corals hate the 20k.

Love the scape - leaves the sides VERY open. and that dartfish! WOW!

That reactor is big... but hey - if it does the job.

 

Tank is coming along very nicely. I noticed that sub next to the fish tank, does that bother the fish at all? I have a nice surround sound system but removed it once I built my tank. Ive been wanting to hook it back up though.

 

Thanks! I thought about filling the sides in with rock, but I think I'm going to leave them open. I like the space. Thinking about getting a big orange branching sponge for the left side once the tank settles in a little.

Yeah she's a big'n..Better too big than too small I guess!

 

Not that I can tell..I actually thought about that today..weird.

It never gets real loud though..I'm sure if you had a bass guitar amp right next to it the fish might file a noise complaint.
