hmm..I've had no problems with it. I'm not sure what "tombstone style" is either. I had a Ushio 20k but am now running a 14k Phoenix.

aah i see, yea.. if your lookin at the light from the front of your tank, my bulb was falling down on the right side, it seems to be staying now that voltage has passed through it a few times.

what do you do about the heat that puppy puts out inside your canopy?

I have a small computer fan in there next to the light..not even pointing at the fixture but man it keeps it cool! The fixture is cool to the touch and there is always a cool breeze in the canopy. Evaporates a good 4 gallons/day though.

Thank you! I was kind of worried at first, but they don't seem to mind each other.

Oh yeah..I had no idea phosphates were as big of a deal as they are. They were at 0.5. That seems like nothing..but after adding this phosphate reactor my corals look better than they have in MONTHS. A lot of my algae has disappeared too. It's around 0.2 now. Hopefully it will be down to zero shortly.

They're different..but the only difference is mine doesn't have the little "light" as far as I know. I dose my tank with oyster feast a couple times a week. We'll see how it works out.
