I'm interested in buying a Blue regal tang and a Powder blue tang for my FOWLR 120g tank.  Any one have any suggestions on how to avoid ich.  I plan on doing a fresh water dip with or without formalin and then place in a quarentine tank for 3 weeks.  Would methylene blue and FW be better to dip them or should i just use plain RO water.  Thanks!

    Are they sick already?
I would skip the fresh water dip if they are health. The stress of the dip could be worse and because your going to QT them I would skip it. you could medicate your QT with copper. I think that would be less stressful

I don't have the fish yet, but will be purchasing them in the next 2 months. I know how prone to ich they are, especially when adding them to a new tank.

Eliminating stress through a good fish community, no bullies, and a QT with copper will be the best way to eliminate the chance of ich
