I have to do the same thing. Except he is no longer afraid of the net he just does his best to swim around it. I've already broken off pieces of SPS by waiving the net around, and tring to keep an eye on him, while at the same time trying to do whatever work I have to do in the tank.

my villain is my Desjardini Tang. If I keep my hand in the water too long and don't pay attention to where he is, he will try to cut me.

I've only been bitten one time and that was because of my own fault. I have a syringe w/feeding tube on it that I used to target feed and in this instance I was just using it to move some stuff on the bottom and had my hand in the tank with no food. I was looking at the bottom of the tank and either my clown or my brown barred goby bit me on the back of the hand. I thought I had been shot, stung for a second and startled me more than anything.

Only other run in was pressing my hand against my tuxedo urchin because I didn't realize where it was in proximity to my hand.

Yes they are. I had a clown sleep belly up floating up at the surface. Turn on the light and he wakes up with a little bit of splashing. Thought he was dead the first few nights I had it.

My clown I jsu a little pig. He tries to nibble when I'm in the tank, sometimes it actually hurts and he's an inch. I'm more afraid of my peppermint shrimp. He's crazy

ha ha, when I was working at the fish store, they had this gigantic clarkii clown who had found himself a nice little anemone. Everyone laughed at how mean that thing was. One day a smaller fish jumped into his tank, so I went to get it out, and that stupid clarkii tried to bit my face off. He jumped out of the tank completely trying to bite me. Unfortunately for him he landed on the floor and continued to try to bite me when I was trying to put him back into the tank. Sad for me, I did get him back into his tank.....but he was the meanist thing i have ever seen! He would try to bite anybody who had his hand in there, and he had nice sized teeth

I have 4 clowns and they nibble at my fingers and almost jump out of the tank when I go to feed them.

I was just bitten by a clown fish.
As much as their name may make you think it may be, it wasn't funny at all.
Stranger yet my yelling "the little bastard bit me! get away! stop biting me!" did not elicit any response from my dear wife listening downstairs.

little SOB rammed me a few times then started biting luckily it really felt like nothing since it is only about 1 1/2 inches long.

My clown has got me once but he usually turns away from me and swishes his tail thinking it's gonna scare me or blow my hand away form his favorite trumpet coral
