The tank has been getting pretty crowded with the new gorgonians, the Diodogorgia and the Pterogorgia, that I added last week. So I have actually started to look forward to the move as it will allow me to re-aquascape and free up some space. I'll likely remove some rock and keep the aquascape low to show off the gorgonians, which are becoming an obsession of mine!

Pretty happy with the progress both gorgonians have made over the last week. I am target feeding the Diodogorgia twice per day with cyclopeeze when I feed the seahorses. I think this has benefitted every gorgonian in the tank as I am seeing better polyp extension. Unfortunately I don't think the Diodogorgia eats the Brightwell "zooplankton m". Although it is obviously cyclopeeze preserved somehow, it just doesn't seem to "stick" to the polyps like the frozen/thawed cyclopeeze does.

    Anyways, enough chat.

    Pseudopterogorgia I think?

Tank Shot - also a couple Briareum gorgs on either side, although I think they are different species of Briareum.

This is the tanks last update in its current location! I will be moving the tank next Monday. I have decided to keep everything, including the DSB (although I'll completely replace the sand), as this system seems to work fairly well.

The tank is getting a bit crowded. I haven't added any new livestock, other than the red macro in the bottom right corner. Things just seem to have filled in a lot. I am looking forward to tearing it down and re-aquascaping, so I can give the gorgonians more room. There is a lot of shaded areas right now, which adversely effects parts of the gorgonians.

I'm going to focus more on calcium/alkalinity control/monitoring after the move. I have purchased a 4-pump peristaltic doser and will use two pumps to dose two-part. Not 100% sure what I should do with the other pumps. I think I will try dosing Brightwell zooplankton-s and m multiple times daily as the gorgonians seem to like it.

Anyways, here is what the tank looks like this afternoon:

Some may think I am crazy for letting this grow, but hey I thought it looked cool.

I think your tank is one of the best on this forum! I think that may be a first in that someone is looking forward to taking a tank down :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I am a little sad to see it move as I am sure you are as well.

It has been a fantastic tank to follow and turned out so wonderfully you should be proud.
