    I just looked up that controller..........WOW........that thing is expensive. But very cool!

    Thank you! I have had it for about a year and I am barely scratching the surface of it's capabilities.

    The touch screen is handy and I love the Vortech controller.

    jake i really can't wait until you finish this, i have never seen anyone do something like this.
    Are you going to ues the same filter for both tanks?

    Thanks Dellyjoe! Each tanks overflows will be fed into the same sump. I'm hoping the system can achieve acceptable water quality using only sac of carbon and multiple DSBs.

    I got the sump today from Eshopps. The builder also just received the one-piece eurobrace... he should ship the tank any day now.

    Things have been delayed for a few reasons... I shopped around for a powder coated steel stand in Vancouver and got several ridiculous quotes. So I ended up buying the stand from the guy who made my tank in Calgary (~10-12 hour drive from Vancouver for you Americans).

    Getting the stand built in Calgary and shipped to Vancouver was half the price that I was being quoted here! Crazy.

    Here is the tank/stand getting crated up for shipping.
