Jakes 90

Well to start, This is my 90g budget build. I originally owned a 29g bowfront and had way to much fun with it. So about 8 months ago my ex bought me this 90g for my birthday, and have been improving ever since. I first used my 29g bowfront as a sumpish sump. Mainly to hide my heater and filter. Since then I used this site and many others to improve my own tank. So here's the pictures and equipment.

The last picture was the light I found on ebay for about 129 with 2 T-5 10k's and 2 T-5 antics, and 8 led moon lights with a timer for all 3.
Antics from 10am-10pm
10k's from 12pm-3pm
blue moon leds 10pm-10am

 

This is my CPR overflow and pump that I got also off ebay for around 89$

My (probably to small) protein skimmer and heater are in the first chamber where my CPR overflow drains into.

This is the pond pump i purchased also on ebay for 75$ it advertised 1600gph and i ran my own home test and it actually runs about 1700gph


I put a t section in the return line and ran a small hose to my 2 fishes reactor, currently its not in use because all my algae is contained in my sump, I think ill leave it attached just incase i need to run some phosban or carbon.

 

Heres my 5g freshwwater topoff bucket, I run a topoff pump that got for 15$ and it pumps 1gallon a day from it to my tank, In the bucket i also predose redsea reef foundation so it gets pumped in with the freshwater daily. and i fill the bucket up every 5 days.

heres my bursa trigger, hes the other trigger little b......i got them both at the same time and big trigger has basically bullied him into not growing.

theres a hawkfish in this picture, hes really shy


theres my spotted dragonette, the way i have my sump set up, i forget what its called but in the middle section i have a semi deep sandbed with live rock that water flows over at a rate of 1700 gph but in the bottom below the rocks on top of the sand its a dead area with almost zero flow and copepods spawn like crazy there.
