Ok time for some updates. I really haven't done anything to the tank, physically no hardware but I just fragged one of me fav corals and took a ton of pictures so I thought I'd share

    Jason,
In your sump you have one of your returns with a sock on it. Is there a reason for this or is it just to help with splashing water in the return?
By the way that tank in the bomb, but I guess you hear that a lot.

hey Otty, it is a 100 micron filter sock. I have them on both returns just to aid in elimination of floaties in the water I change them every other day and wash them in the washing machine every 4 of 5 days. I have 6 or 8 in rotation.

    They work great

Excellent ideal, may I ask where you purchased the socks? I cut down some straight Fluval filters to go before the media in my sump down one of the baffle chambers and it's hard to get to. The sock may take care of that.
